3 years ago, I decided to write books for a living.
I choose to write ebooks, because I don’t want many unsold copies of printed books lying around on bookshelves, in a warehouse, or a discount bin.
I don’t want many trees to die to become paper, and all that paper wasted made into books that did not sell, or were not read.
I do my writing in short pieces on a blog.
I don’t do novels, because I put down what I see with as few words as necessary, and will not go on and on for a reader to flip through hundreds of pages, in order to get the whole story.
These blog posts are available to be read free by everyone in the world, until the time comes to compile them into a year-book.
I dislike keeping months and months of writing online, for people to have to search through, just to find something they like, and want to read.
For that, ebooks are what I have done, with a simple contents page which links to all the collected posts of the year, and at the end of every piece, there is a link back to the contents page.

This is my 1st ebook, put out for May to December 2008, called Coping.
The name of the ebook comes from the title of the first post, which would make sense when used to name the ebook.
The cover background is a set of repeated small tiles of the first photo in the ebook which can be used in such a way.
Later on, I added a printable plain colour cover, at the suggestion of one of my first customers.

My 2nd ebook covered the whole year of 2009, and was called ‘The rules and I’.
Again, I added a printable plain light-blue cover, in case the reader did not like my tiled-photo cover.

The latest 3rd ebook compiled my work of last year, 2010.
Due to the unusual title of the first post in that book, which could be used as the book’s name, it got called ‘A happy, happy story’.

But instead of giving away another printable plain-colour cover for this ebook, I added another mini-ebook, Logue, with plain-white cover and a photo.
This free little ebook collected a few photos and short writing from our recent trip to Perth, Australia.
